Thank God for enjoying your word today! Sweet more than honey! Finally, I can enjoy and taste it so much hahahahahah
Well, as the friends of the writer said, it's hard to see the goodness while we are in the middle of trials. We are just an ordinary people. Our flesh and soul will be tired. However, in the end we will see the beautiful garden after passing the garden of tears, as Jesus had done before over two thousands years ago.
I was surprised by the devotional today. Once, there was a young girl named Fanny Crosby whose eyes were blind at the age of 5. It must have been hurt to know reality. Three years later, she started to write poetry and hymns. And the rest is history.
Over 8,000 songs and hymns were created by her! People must be familiar with "Blessed Assurance", "Safe In The Arms of Jesus", and "Pass Me Not O Gentle Savior". I didn't expect before that these hymns were created by a young girl! How close her relation to God at very very young age! Comparing to me, in the same age I was just playing play station along the day hahahahah
"Unrevealed until it's season, something God alone can see"
At the end of today devotional, the writer writes:
What trials in your life have you found to be for your good?
What good things have come from it?
What are you now suffering that you pray will bring something good?
And now, I pray for everyone who are suffering. Hope they have a perseverance until they understand why God put them into trials.
Free from the blight of sorrow, free from doubts and fears
Only a few more trials, only a few more tears
Safe In The Arms of Jesus, Fanny Crosby (1820-1915)
