Sacrifice

When Abraham was asked by God to sacrifice his son, Abraham showed his love to God by sacrificing Isaac as an expensive of offering.

When God gives His Son to die for us, He gives the most priceless offering ever.

I would like to make a conclusion that the heart of giving the best is the heart of brokenness. Look at Abraham! He offered something meaningful after a long-period waiting whereas he had just had a birth! If only Abraham did not love God, he would not did such a thing.
Painful
Broken
Sorrow
Hurt
Disappointed
But, still obey Lord.

There is a sacrifice in following Jesus.

Even more, the heart of God.
Father sacrifices The Lamb of God, just for the sinful creatures. Cross is proving how painful Father is. Is there anything else seeing His Son being dishonorable slaughtered?

So, who would you sacrifice as a fragrant offering in following Jesus?

Anyway, is there anything in this world belong to us? Do we have any right to claim everything as our own? There is no such a thing belong to us, right? So, actually God does not ask something from us but take something His own.
